Petr Bujok

Born on August 30, 1983 in Třinec, Czech Republic. Graduated at the University of Ostrava,
in Ostrava, in Information Systems in 2008, Ph.D. degree in the Parallelism in adaptive evolution
algorithms since 2013, and finally 'Associate Professor' (Doc.) degree in Applied Mathematics in 2019.
Since 2019, as Associate professor deals with evolutionary algorithms, statistics and data analysis
at the Department of Computer Science, University of Ostrava. Research activities involve
stochastic algorithms for global optimization, their applications, computational statistics,
applications of statistics, time series and statistical software. Member of Czech Statistical Society.
